Dataset Abstract

This data gives cover values of individual herb species in each of the 1 mu subplots of the experimental site A of the BEF-China experiment.

Dataset Design

Each 1 mu plot in the initial plot map in the report to the German Science foundations was visited and a W-Transect was used to inspect herb cover. Herb cover of each species was estimated to the nearest percent cover.
