Dataset Abstract

This data gives cover values of herbs in each of the 1 mu subplots of the experimental site B of the BEF-China experiment.

Dataset Design

Each 1 mu plot in the initial plot map in the report to the German Science foundations was visited and a W-Transect was used to inspect tatal herb cover.

Spatial Extent

Xingangshan, SiteB
29°08'-29°11'E
117°90'-117°93'E

Temporal Extent

2010/6/20-2010/6/26

Taxonomic Extent

This data gives cover values of herbs in each of the 1 mu subplots of the experimental site B of the BEF-China experiment.

Measurement Circumstances

This investigation has done before weeding, and the plants are in the best growth period.

Data Analysis

The herb composition can be related to soil and relief variables (altitude, slope, aspect). It can also be used as covarible in further analysis of the plot
