Dataset Abstract

Estimated data of individual root biomass of July 2010 in Pilot experiment (SP1) by the allometric equations. --- Including estimated root biomass data of block 1, 2 & 3, and the harvest data of block 4.

Dataset Design

We used the allometry equations estimated the root biomass of individuals in block 1, 2 and 3 which were not harvested in July 2010. The equations were established by the root biomass data which were harvested in July and September 2010 in Pilot Experiment.

Spatial Extent

The experiment was located within N29 06.325 / E117 55.244, in the south-west N29 06.293 / E117 55.235, in the north-east N29 06.295 / E117 55.326 and in the southeast N29 06.266 / E117 55.329 in the lower valley of Tiquanshui river (体泉水),Xinjianxiang, Jiangxi Province

This data can be used to analysis root biomass allometric differences in different treatment groups (Control / Shaded).
