Dataset Abstract

Master-thesis: “Influence of diversity on N-distribution in canopy’s from subtropical trees in China”

Dataset Design

Leaf samples were taken from four trees per species per VIP-plot for each diversity level (1-16) via secateurs or glasfiber telescopic poles. In each crown the leaves were taken in three layers (under/mid/top) for each cardinal direction (12 leaves per tree). Samples from the same layer and same individual were pooled for C/N-analyses.
