These are based on the abundance data in the 24ha plot and the CSPs, from which a first classification was made. In a second step, Fang Teng corrected these "guestimates" based on his experience especially for all species that did not occur in both 24ha plot and CSPs. Based on the actual abundance data on 24ha+CPS, the mean percentage of individuals per class was calculated. The abundances classes (dominant, common, less common, very rare) thus correspond to mean percentage individuals per class (4.75%, 0.786%, 0.1% and 0.001%, summing up to 100%) or more intuitively: 5%, 1%, 0.1% 0.001% (which sums up to 111%).

Ilex chinensis is a synomyn for Ilex purpurea. Both names were wrongly treated as seperate species in the original CSP data (148 species). In fact, their abundances should be summed up.
